In this short article I will address a question many newcomers to Trust Wallet face: where to find USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20) in the interface. Although the wallet interface is quite friendly, this path is not made very obvious. Still, there is nothing complicated here - read and remember the sequence of actions.
Step 1. Open Trust Wallet and on the main screen tap “Manage cryptocurrencies”, after which the token list management window will open.
Step 2. Find USDT and choose the correct network
- Type “USDT” in the search field.
- You will see several options in the results: ERC20, BEP20, Arbitrum, Polygon, etc. You need the one labeled TRON or TRC-20; this is important to avoid issues with transfers later.
- Activate the toggle on the right next to USDT - TRON (TRC-20).
- In addition to USDT, it is also useful to display TRX in the same way, since you will have to interact with it during operations on the TRON network.
Step 3. Verification
- Return to the start page; the currencies you selected earlier should be displayed there.
- Then, to check, open USDT from the assets list. In the lower corner of the screen select the “Receive” button, after which you will see your deposit address on the TRON network. Trust Wallet will once again remind you that TRC-20 assets must be sent only to this address; otherwise you risk losing assets. On an exchange or in an exchanger, always choose the TRON/TRC-20 network when withdrawing.
Done. After these steps, USDT TRC-20 will be in the Trust Wallet asset list, and on the token page you will be able to quickly find the deposit address on the TRON network.
